Turning human shit into fertilizer for growing defense lines and non crop areas. There's enough.
-But human shit still needs research as fertilizer for crops. In dire situations it can be used anyway.

And holding the ground in place with triangle shapes (seen from above) with sticks.

And planting the right crops
And planting the right trees and vegitation for defense lines and or crop areas.
-The tree should hold a lot of water and be resistant to drought and heat.
